The Nitto Trail Grappler M/T is a hybrid design that blends the off-road capability of a mud tire with the on-road civility of an all-terrain tire. A z-shaped center groove provides lateral stability and excellent mud traction. Balanced tread void ratio and integrated stone ejectors help to clear mud and debris from the tread. Deep, lateral center sipes help to improve wet traction by allowing for water drainage. Reinforced shoulder grooves and 3D tapered grooves add additional biting edges for improved off-road/all-season traction without compromising block stiffness. Random tread block size and pitch variation provides a quiet ride. Integrated sidewall tread lugs help to provide additional off-road traction and enhanced shoulder protection. Extra-thick, high turn-up, 3-ply sidewall construction improves on-road steering response as well as off-road durability and puncture resistance. Two wide steel belts improve durability and increase tread strength. Jointless bead wire and spiral-wound cap ply ensure optimal tire uniformity and quality.
